Actually, this one is in pretty good shape. Old structures such as this (and much shabbier) are so common they’re often taken for granted. Many of these old barns and sheds are still used by the farmers who own them. More and more, though, these bits of history are being replaced with unattractive metal “pole barns” that have zero character. Maybe I’ll post a photo of one soon. Thanks for your comment!

Great to see them, here we only have the kind of sheds I think your talking about all the old stone sheds have gone. Mind you I can go looking !
