Hello, Sharon! It is unbelievable tagging the singer’s name. Neil Young for me is “Heart of gold”, but “Harvest Moon” is very good, too. I’m writing comment while hearing that song.
Yes, “Heart of Gold” is his most recognized and biggest hit from what I see as his golden era of music π Which I love very, very much. π
The album “Harvest Moon” was his 1992 follow up to his 1972 popular album, “Harvest”. Twenty years after, and I think it was as good as, or even better, than the first :-).
Looking back now I can hardly believe it’s been 20 years since “Harvest Moon” came out, let alone 40 since “Harvest.”
You’re welcome, Sharon! My encounter with Neil Young was after joining Crosby, Stills & Nash. I only knew him by name before it. And “Heart of Gold” came afterwards. When I heard “Harvest Moon”, I noticed that his slightly old playing method of guitar had charms.
It is all of lifetime for a 40-year-old person. Let’s not talk anymore about that.

I love the fact that your marking the Harvest and the Moon Sharon π
Thanks Nigel π π
The moon is a good way to mark the passage of seasons, and so I’m just giving her her due :-).

I took nearly the same picture! I wonder if we were both standing there, in wonder, at the same moment…
Pam, 3:00 this morning………awoke for no reason and felt compelled to peek outside – and saw this beautiful sky.
Did you post your image yet? I can’t wait to see it :-).
Thanks for your lovely comment :-).
Ok – I’ll post mine now – I almost thought yours was mine and wondered how it got there!
Thank you. It’s just lovely, Pam.
Great title, too!
π
thanks – it’s fun to think we shared a moment, together
