Funny, when I did some internet research to identify it, I was surprised that many sites have it listed as a creeping garden perennial.
I found it on the levee near a lake where I often hike. Pretty, but NIMBY. On the other hand, I’d love to rid my own yard of all turfgrass and let it naturalize! Maybe one day…..
It is such a beautiful shade of blue, but it does earn its name!
