Buttercups feature in one of my earliest childhood memories. They hold a special place in my heart. I think I’ve always been a florist! My sister and I would hold a blossom under each other’s chin and ask, “Do you like butter?” And when the yellow would reflect upon our skin, we’d exclaim, “Yes, you do!” 🙂

We used to do the same thing as kids with dandelions, Eliza! That was a memory almost vanished until I read your comment. Thank you!!
Oh so lovely! I have a carpet of these in my back yard that grows bigger every year overtaking the grass… I love them.
