Pink or red skies always intrigue me. I’m never certain what it is — dust, reflections of the sun’s more subtle colors, or something else altogether — that causes those hues to be present either in the morning or the evening. But whatever it is, the results are gorgeous. Nice shot!
I think the best part about getting out into nature is that it’s the one place we allow ourselves to just observe and wonder…………and even though the answers are there for the searching, sometimes it’s more fun to ask the questions.

Hello Brett π
I’ve asked myself these same things.

Thank you so much.

All Sunearthsky photos are terrific.
Aw! Thank you, Bruce. π π
Oh, what gorgeous colors β marvelous brushstrokes β like a painting!
Thanks, Eliza. Those brushstroke clouds are my favorite bit, too.
Wow, beautiful. Did you get crazy rain yesterday like we did?
Thanks, Carol. Yes we had a torrent of rain the day before this shot! I’m over rain and summer. Autumn and winter are the best times to hike!
