Hi earthstonestation, thanks for your comment. What it lacks in diversity it makes up for in symmetry ;-). Seriously though, you make a keen observation. This grove is on a corn/soybean/cattle farm just a few miles outside of my town. I’m not sure why the farmer chose to plant trees as the surrounding area is either cultivated for crops or fenced pasture for livestock. Do you know what kind of trees they are?

Wierd. As a farm ok as it is absorbing co2. As a forest or habitat it lacks diversity
