Thanks Nigel. As usual, you’ve a keen eye :-). I was drawn to how the sun shining on the sandstone and the view beyond looked almost mediterranean rather than a medieval castle and moat!
Hi janxxgeist, thanks for the great comment! I went back and forth on keeping the warmth on that wall – too saturdated? – so I’m happy you noticed and liked it. I processed this late last night and zip through the commands pretty fast………..but let me see. I start out with Paint.net to reduce noise (its noise filter is much better than Photoshop’s), then crop, layer, tweak, and sometimes add a filter, usually in Photoshop Elements. Sometimes I use Picasa……..I think that wall popped into warmth with the lomo filter in Elements. Sorry I can’t recall specifically I was probably doing too many at once but thank you !! 🙂
