  1. great title πŸ™‚ There’s something about distressed buildings.. in the imperfections there’s an odd beauty. I’ve often dreamed of turning an industrial building like this one into a unique home. Wouldn’t it be great to open six garage doors in your dining room? I’d have to invent a way for a screen to pop up as the doors open though – don’t like bugs 😐 I love the distressed wood on the door and the brick, fantastic image, Sharon.

    • Hi Scott πŸ™‚

I agree! This one is in a small rural town, but I’d bet in a large, urban area it would be considered a valuable piece of property! Yes, open the garage doors to an open industrial loft. Preferably with a city river view! I also love the distressed turquoise colors. Thank you Scott πŸ™‚

    • Thanks Nigel πŸ™‚

I love the faded colors too and thought that light over the door just made the scene :-). I walked around the property and peeked in the windows and oh boy, it’s full of interesting stuff! There was an old car inside along with dusty old appliances and other relics stacked nearly to the ceiling. Given that the area outside the door is so tidy, I assume someone tends to this place. πŸ™‚
