  1. I always love the distressed wood, and this is unusual because of the brick foundation. I’ve been reading more on the pointed gables; apparently they are there to protect the pulley system to load hay into the upper level, which makes sense. A wonderful image, Sharon.

      You know, I came across an article about the pulley system but it was vague about how it related to the pointed gable.
