  1. I’ve been looking for a way to photograph goldenrod so it makes an interesting image – you found it first! I’m enjoying your postings from the heartland very much.

      Goldenrod is a challenge. I did several closeups but just couldn’t seem to get a good one. I’m finding this is also true also with big bluestem prairie grass. Beautiful in totality, but difficult to convey in a photograph either as an entire patch or just a closeup. They just look pointy and straight. I’ll keep watching your blog for inspiration. πŸ™‚

      • Thank you so much – I’ve been writing poetry for about a decade love the process. I never used to write with an image in mind, but now, working with the photographs, the words often just flow. It’s almost like someone else is doing the writing and I’m just there to type.

        Keep taking those beautiful photos!
