Hello, Paul π Me too. They have such character and history. Even new, they’re still more charming than modern outbuildings. I agree they’re a metaphor: we all fall down sooner or later. How will *we* fit into the world when that happens? Reply
I like that idea. Under a nice pear or apple tree, maybe. Each season people would walk by, pluck an apple from the branch, look at it and say, “Paul’s having a good year!” π π π Reply
Very nice! I LOVE old structures of any kind and always wonder what/how life was before for the people involved. Reply
Thanks, maeflower50. I, too, love how these old structures evoke past times and people. A sepia-tinted world of harder, but simpler times. π Reply
Didn’t get in? π¦
Nice catch however!

Ha! I’d have gotten in if I’d wanted to ;-).
Thank you. π π
Ooooh! Are you scared? π
Not even a little. π
Lots of these around here. I’m drawn to them. Could be a metaphor.

I wish I could fit in by disintegrating slowly into the soil, with no box to slow me down.
