I am from Western Illinois in the Midwest. I live in a rural area surrounded by miles of corn, soybeans and farms. I sometimes hike in local woodland parks, but I also drive around the countryside looking for interesting things to shoot.

Perfect for Holy Week this week. The gray stormy sky behind the cross should remind us of the turmoil and our sin that caused Jesus to hang on the cross.
