Fleabane (Erigeon). Apparently the dried herb was used to repel fleas. I let it self-sow in patches in in my bigger gardens and let it go in the fields. When in peak bloom, it is like a honey-scented cloud. Long-lasting, continual bloom for most of the summer, favored by pollinators.
I remember the winter you had Sharon π π snow and more snow !!!
It just wonderful to see all your new images , nature is amazing that it can recover so well π π
Thank you for sharing your spring π π
Aw, it’s my pleasure.
Thank you, Nigel. π
Yes, endless snow! It’s hard to imagine it all now, when the landscape is bursting with color and texture.
Each season brings its own challenges and delights……by November I’ll be ready for more subtle, soothing winterscapes.
But for now, oh boy, the carnival of nature is pure joy!
Great title – what lovely faces!
Thanks, Eliza. π
P.S. – Eliza, do you happen to know what these are?
