    • Thanks very much, Eliza. 🙂 🙂 I’ve driven by these trees for years and always admired the blooms without looking at them too closely. This year I got up close and personal, and wow was I surprised!

    • Thanks, Carol. I didn’t expect the white against dark contrast when I took the picture. These blooms look arbitrary and nondescript from the road. So, when I loaded the images, I was happily surprised that they looked like an oil painting of an exotic bloom hanging from a pergola in Italy or the south of France………….

      Okay – maybe that’s a stretch. Let’s just say that I’m happy with the results.
