There is something so fascinating about old decaying wooden houses. We don’t have wooden houses here, they’re all stone, so that adds to the allure. Gorgeous shot of course π
I guess the UK maritime climate makes wood-sided homes unfeasible, yes?
These old, abandoned farmhouses aren’t as common as barns around here, so finding one like this — abandoned (I think!), peeling wood with perfect patina, and not overgrown with weeds — is a treat.
I love the stone structures in the UK — I was there last year and could have spent every minute of every day clamoring around the old churches and castles.
