Hello Adrian, thank you for the kind comments! I live in western Illinois, and yes, it’s a beautiful area. Rustic and rural, lots of sky and a LOT of corn and soybean fields.
This barn is located near Colchester. It’s the only one of its kind in the area. I posted another shot of it last January; the link is here: https://sunearthsky.com/2014/01/05/round-barn-2/. I don’t like to post duplicate shots, but this barn is so lovely that I think it deserves repeated viewings :).

There is a barn just like this one very near where I live, just north of Minneapolis.
I’d love to see an image of it, Stephen.
Okay. I will try to get over there and take a picture of it.
I found out that this barn has a web site with an image. Just look up “Round Barn in Andover, MN.” The barn is actually used as an antique store.
Me again, If you click on images you will see a lot of pictures of it. Its a red barn with a sign on it of its potting company.
