Beautiful; the classic outline of an old, solitary oak tree. Thank you for the larger version. I’m also drawn to the trees on the little rise in the lower right…inviting. I like this black & white series, Sharon.
Is this a local landmark, known by ‘Good Hope Oak’?
Hi Mic, thank you. It’s been a gray, cold January–black and white in the literal sense. I love this time of year because you can see the underpinnings of the landscape. Those trees on the right certainly echo the mama-bear oak and I tried to get them in the shot (thank you for noticing).
The oak is a landmark, and “Good Hope” is the name of the small town nearest to where it lives.
Gorgeous image, Sharon.
Thank you, Jane!
Absolutely wonderful! Such a fantastic image. Well done!
Michael, thank you so much!
