Lonely tree. My, your land is so flat! I’ve lived in the hills and forests all my life, I cannot imagine what it must be like to live on the plains. Is it true that the wind blows all the time?
Yes Eliza, it sure is. To quote my mom, the land is “flat as a flitter.”
I like being able to see for miles on end and find it very freeing. There’s a feeling of connectedness about it. That said, I could spend days, weeks, even months prowling around forests and hills getting up close in the face of Mother Nature herself.
Yes, it’s windy in the winter (especially *this* winter!), and blazing hot in the summer. Ah, but spring and autumn, though fleeting, are full of wonder.
Simple. Beautiful.
Hi Dan, and thank you very much.

Beautiful. Are you still working the iPhone?
Hi Rufus π
Thank you. I still use the phone on occasion (the most recent mobile post was “Snowy Fairway), but I got this shot with the DSLR.
Great to see you. π
Patiently waiting, the lonely guard over the land.
Perfect. Thanks, Mary.
