To me, daylilies always shout, “July!” Lovely shot of barn and flowers. 🙂
Yep, they’re classic summer alright. 🙂 🙂
To me, they evoke summer ditches along the side of the road – highway or rural – and the back corner of the yard of my childhood home.
We called them tiger lilies. I think these ditch lilies are a less hybridized version.
